Versa Not Pairing to Samsung Galaxy S22

Hi team,

I am unable to connect Fitbit with mobile app. While connecting

1. It shows Fitbit found

2. Fitbit shows pin number

3. I enter pin to app

4. Takes time then says unable to connect

I have tried restarting app, restarting device, restarting Fitbit, disabling blutooth for some time and enabling it again uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Nothing works.

Before I finally trash it and move on to non fitbit device, I am checking if you anyone else has a solution as I tried upgrading but did not like the versa 2. I really prefer my versa.

Hi @CassieHennen - the Versa is a great watch and you still may be able to fix it.

Firstly try Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on, or other Fitbit devices switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

If it is still s problem remove any Fitbit watch from Bluetooth and repeat the procedure, and lastly if it doesn't create a new Bluetooth set it up again.

If none of that works you may need to perform a factory reset but this isn't without risk; it may not work or you may not be able to re-set it up and you will lose any data not yet synced.

If you do try it wait at least 5 minutes for the reset to complete before doing anything with the watch which should be fully charged first.
