Versa Released in Stores?

Does anyone know when the Versa will be released in stores in Texas? Best Buy? Staples? Any of that sort? I'm not pre-ordering but I'm hoping to go to a store the weekend after it comes out to check it out and buy it in person. (I can't handle the wait when it's shipping it drives me crazy!):smileylol:

It looks like it. You can check with stores near you and ask. Of course
things can change, but as of now it looks like 4/16. What sucks about that
for me is that we're leaving on a cruise on 4/15, so I'll have to wait
until we get home to get it. First world problem, but it's upsetting.

You're absolutely right. It just would be nice if Fitbit surprises me and
releases the Versa two days earlier than announced. But I'll be fine
with my Charge 2!

I hope you post how you like the Versa, since you'll likely be getting it
way ahead of me.

Check Target on the 16th if you have one near you, they are on time with new Fitbit releases. 🙂

Thanks a lot for your response. I'm sure that the Versa will be available
in several stores near me on 4/16. The issue, we're leaving on a cruise on
4/15, so I'm hoping it'll be released a couple days early. Probably not,
but it's possible.

Interestingly enough, I am wearing mine right now I pre-ordered through HSN for the easy payments, but they went ahead and shipped it early. Arrived yesterday. Maybe I am one of the sole lucky folks out there who got one early that wasn't for review purposes

I have the same issue.  Leaving for my cruise on 4/8.  I don't think mine is going to come before.  If it doesn't ship by Thursday, I'm going to cancel my order and just buy one in the store when I get back.

I pre-ordered mine on the Fitbit website on 3/13.  It said allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.  It's now past 4 weeks and still hasn't shipped.  I bothered them about it multiple times and now I'm being told I should allow an additional 2-3 weeks!  At this point it'll be faster to just purchase it in the store and cancel the pre-order.  Sigh.

It really stinks that you still haven't gotten the Versa and that *it
hasn't even shipped yet*!

All the stores I've checked with have said they can't see it before 4/16,
that it should be available on that date.

Just this afternoon, the status page has changed from "We received your order" to "Your order is being processed."  I wonder how long "processing" takes and I wonder what type of shipping I'll get.  I bet I'll still be able to buy one in the store before I receive it!  😞

Almost guaranteed (assume the stores have the Versas in stock). I don't
see any way you'll get it from Fitbit before Monday. Good luck!

Agreed.  I'm thinking of buying one in the store anyway, if I find it there.  My wife will certainly want one, so ultimately I'll need two anyway.  🙂

The store won, by the way. With my Fitbit preorder coming in AFTER I was able to buy it in the store, I'll never trust Fitbit to correctly handle a preorder again. 😞
