This is my first time posting here, so sorry if the formatting is wrong or if this is a repeat...
I have a Versa, and I got it back in April. I hadn't had any problems with it until now. The screen will randomly turn on by itself (I have quick view turned off so I have to push the button on the side) and get stuck and won't shut off until I notice and push the left side button. It will do the same thing when I get notifications too. The notification shows up but then the screen doesn't turn off after 10 seconds, like I have it set to do, and it won't turn off until I notice (which is usually after a while) that the screen's on and I have to push the side button to put the screen to sleep. This really wastes the battery and my watch is only lasting half the day because of it. Or I'm having to constantly check my watch every 3 minutes to make sure it hasn't turned itself on. Is this happening to anyone else? It's quite annoying.
I have an iPhone 6s, and the latest version of the Fitbit app. My watch is also running the latest version of its software.

Hi @itmightbeolive It shouldn't be doing that. Try restarting it several times and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt try a Factory Reset (settings app on the watch and scroll down to About) if that dpesnt fix it please come back here.

Hey Nelly,
Thanks for the reply! I figured it out though... I think it was a bug in the watch face I was using. I changed it from "True Elegance" to a new one and the issue was fixed. Sucks too because it was a nice simple clock face 😞

Good, glad you have it sorted. If you like that face try it again in a week or so as they sometimes seem to recover!

This is strange. This exact problem happened to me. I had to redownload the device onto my phone twice. It wouldn’t sync and kept saying “data not cleared sync and try again”. I eventually came across this thread....I was using the same clock face “true elegance” - changed it, and everything started working like normal. Odd how a clock face could randomly start causing all these issues?? I’d been using “true elegance” for over a year with no issues!
