Versa Screen Scratches

Does anyone else have a Versa that seems to be easily scratching (on the screen)? I haven't even worn mine for 24 hours and I already have several scratches on the screen, one of which appears quite deep.

Hi, yes mine looks old, and I bought it in July. Very disappointed.

I just bought my wife the Versa and the screen is scratched in under an hour. They could have used Gorilla glass just like modern phones have, especially for a watch that is made for the active. Yes I'll purchase a cover but now I need to figure out how to move the scratch. Or maybe just return the fitbit if even possible and get the rose goldGalaxy watch 42mm with Gorilla Glass DX. Rose Gold Versa Scratch in under an hour

I think Fitbit has lost a lot of repeat customers due to this issue and their poor customer service. I’ve worn a version of Fitbit for years but will be switching to a Garmin when it’s time for an upgrade.

I would try and return it and get something else.  Too much money to pay for a defective product.

That's terrible it happened after such short use. I knew from experience with my Blaze that the screens can scratch easily. I ordered screen protectors with my Versa and haven't worn it a day without them. I agree, it is far too much money to spend to have ruined so easily. You would think with so many complaints about this product that Fitbit would make some revisions on the glass.

I agree! I thought about returning to where I purchased it from but I bought a screen protector and just dealt with it...
Here is the one I bought IQShield Fitbit Versa Screen Protector from Amazon.

I will send back if there are any other problems.

Are the IQ Shields good? Have they held up well?

Yes, I’ve had it for a couple weeks now. No lifting and I’m able to access the screen without any problems!

I purchased this as well and I am very happy.  I like to changing up the colors.  Still think FITBIT should make a more durable screen, but I like the Versa and this will help with any more scratches.

The major problem is they will not take it back with scratches. I have had it one day and somehow between home and work this morning: between taking it off the charger, putting on my jacket and walking to work it got scratched with a lot of mini scratches. I've never seen anything like it....

I understand your frustration. It has really upset me with what has happened with this watch. I am still using mine, even though there is a deep scratch. I bought a glass screen cover from Amazon. I have to replace it about every 2 months because it gets all scratched and cracked.

This cover is the BEST: SIRUIBO Compatible Fitbit Versa Case, TPU Plated Screen Protector Rugged Cover All-Around Protective Bumper Shell Compatible Fitbit Versa Smartwatch, Clear

My Versa look brand new. It’s easy to remove for charging, easy to put back on and I have no trouble using my screen.

Mine did the same thing. You would think with a touch screen that they would be a little more durable

You would think that for sure.

Yes, I agree! I put the screen protector on and haven’t thought of it lately. The cost is too much for it to be scratched within hours of purchase.
