After over an hour, my Fitbit Versa is only about 25% finished with setup. Seriously?

Yes, it can be. It took round about 45 minutes in my case. I'm on a 200 MBit internet connection but I think Fitbit Servers are slow that time, because the rollout of the versa. Everyone needs to upgrade the new device...

I bought mine this morning, and the wifi update failed. It reset itself to bluetooth, and the update has been going for 2 hours, an appears to be about 10% done. This seems excessive to me.

 

I'm not sure why an update isn't downloaded to the local phone, to be honest.

 

Is there a way to cancel the firmware update and then retry it? No rush on the answer, it seems like I have until tomorrow noon before I have to do anything.

Well, I just received a Versa as a gift, and after clicking "set-up" it says -

Setting Up Versa ......

1418 minuted (estimated)

I am literally in shock...it doesn't say how much is completed (I'm using the app on a computer) Anyone know how to speed it up or solve it?
