Unless there's a way to revive my dead versa whatever new firmware fix is meaningless.

Maybe Fitbit should consider to establish a paid update service for some bucks. Also for Fitbits out of warranty. In every case you will get a working watch back.

Hi,
I just got the Versa Lite for my husband and every time we try to update, it stops. We have done the trouble shooting steps and I have restarted the watch and his iPhone. But the watch is still not updating. We can’t see anything on his watch besides it saying to first download the Fitbit app. What can we do? Thanks in advance for your help.

Nothing but problems and after 2 years and 3 watches, I'm done with Fitbit. Terrible product, Terrible service. Your firmware updates have killed all 3 of my watches! Ridiculous!! Watch just cycles through resets now, won't come up, won't sync. Uninstall, reinstall...nothing works. Hard reset, doesn't take. Place in charging cradle, no luck. After endless encouragement from friends and family, I'm finally dumping this trash and my Samsung watch will arrive today. I will never suggest your product to anyone! The only good thing going for y'all is your app. Everything else is trash, custom service included!!

Every since updating to this new firmware my Versa 2 isn’t accurately tracking my steps or stairs. My battery is also draining. I’ve been a Fitbit owner for a few years now and am ready to go buy an Apple Watch. Please help. I’ve tried shutting it down and the factory reset. Nothing works.

Two simple questions @AlessFitbit @MarreFitbit .
1st: With regard to OS 4.1.3, did anything change between 18th May and 27th May? I don't understand why there is a "best answer" and why it's an update. Between 18th and 27th May I tried a factory reset and set it up again, but the problem in my 2nd question is still present.
2nd: Should my Versa (original, not lite or versa 2) shut down and power off when told to through settings/about/Shutdown? It hasn't since the December 2019 update, needs a 2 button reset to bring it back to life and when I do I can tell it was still using battery whilst it looked like it was shut down.
That's all, simple questions.

Good luck in getting an answer regarding the battery drain due to the device not really turning off that was introduced with the December firmware update. I have asked this question repeatedly in both the threads for the April and this update and no acknowledgement of the issue or a response. Just troubleshooting tips that don't make a difference since it's a coding bug in the firmware.
Just like I've asked why the moderators continue to recommend doing a firmware update when Fitbit can't guarantee that the firmware will either work or not work on an out of warranty device. You take a gamble downloading the firmware onto your device and hope it that it works like it should and not have either a bricked device or a device that looses it's functionality.

I have the versa 2. When I synced before it was quick. Now it takes forever if it synchronizes at all. Horrible since the last update.

After the update my display stopped working, and I am not getting right support from customer support. It sucks!

For all Apple Watch buyers: It is nice for you but this is a Fitbit OS thread. Also the Apple or Samsung watches are a other price category. So please stop spaming this thread. Instead please open a new thread for this.

Battery drain still occurs. I won't do a hard reset because I don't want to loose data. Battery currently lasts 1 to 1 and a half day. Not very satisfying. Interesstingly my Ionic was fixed with the update. Also without hard reset or factory reset.
But the enormous vampire drain when switched off still occurs on both devices. Please fix this soon.

First I installed the new firmware. Then the screen and two of the buttons stopped working, I wrote to the support, still waiting for an answer.
That evening it suddenly started working for a couple of hours. I went to sleep, was woken up by it flashing lights (I always take out any notifications during the night for obvious reasons). I had to put it out in another room so I could sleep.
Next morning i tried to connect it. It's not working. I tried charging it. Nothing. It's dead.

Hubby just did firmware update for his versa, and now it's not even switch on. He tried to press all of the 3 buttons for more than 20 seconds, but nothing happened.
Any suggestions?
