My Versa has a black screen, and I'm pretty upset. My husband bought it for me in May 2019 directly from Fitbit - and I've loved it. I enjoy being able to use it in the pool at water aerobics and tracking steps and sleep. It went out several hours after our water aerobics class on Monday 7/29. We've tried to recharge it, but it doesn't give any indication that it is charging. My husband also tried to reset it following the directions on this site, and even tried to do a factory reset - but the screen has stayed black.
This has apparently happened to others on this forum - but I haven't located any way to restart the Versa when there is only a black screen. I will be calling for technical support in the morning - but I will be sad if there is no simple solution. My husband started using a Fitbit One in 2013, and customer support has helped him in the past, so we'll see what happens.

@Swimmom720 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't turn on or charge. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums. I totally understand how you feel since you enjoy using your watch.
If you haven't contacted our Support team, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article also contains the restart process but you can skip it and proceed with the rest. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.
Keep me posted on the outcome!
