My versa stopped working in the morning while in medium charge. I tried to restart it several times and to charge it nothing seems to work... I bought it 2 weeks ago...

Leave it on the charger for abwhile then try several restarts again. If that doesnt work try a factory reset (see below). If that doesnt work, as it is new, return it to the store you bought it for an exchange or contact Support (link in my signature ) Let us know what happens.

Restart your tracker

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

I had my versa for 3 months and the same thing happened to mine. Just died at half charge. Wouldn't charge/reset at all. I had a warranty through my purchase at Best Buy and upon going to get a new one, found out that LOTS and LOTS of issues happening with fitbit and they don't offer any more warranties with fitbits AT ALL. So, as much as I love the fitbit platform, I went with a SAMSUNG that I could get a warranty with. I'm disappointed in Fitbit and it's lack of a sustainable product.

I have had to return my Fitbit versa 2 times already in first 6 months.  Called customer service today and told them please credit me the price of versa and I’ll just pay difference for ionic.  Told me know.  Basically answer was I have to eat cost of versa but they will give me 40 percent off ionic.  Customer service has been poor for a product that is expensive and known problems exist.  I love Fitbit app and used for 3 years in various forms through 4 devices now but think might be time to bite bullit and get garmin.    Are you pleased with yours?

I also had a Blaze that worked for about a year then just died. The Versa was my replacement for it. I LOVE the platform/app for the Fitbit, but it’s to the point that you’re just throwing money away for their product. I am pleasantly surprised and happy (day 2) with the Samsung and I have peace of mind knowing I have a warranty for it as well.

I purchased my versa from ebay from someone who was not very honest and told me I was getting a new in box item only to find out it was a newer item cuz it had been returned and within 6 months it just stopped working so I went to exchange it and that's when I found dout the other person had already returned it and when u spoke with customer support they're told me u was pretty much SOL so I now have a 230 watch that sits in a drawer cuz it won't do anything anymore. I will never purchase another fitbit product ever again. I do t have money to just throw away like that

Sorry to hear you had problems with your Versa. I used to have a Samsung watch. When I was ready to buy a new one, I went with the Fitbit Versa and absolutely love it. Samsung does make some good products and I DO like some of them...but God forbid you need some customer support - and that is where Fitbit excels above and beyond any other company, in my opinion. Samsung support is a joke. Might as well be talking to a brick wall. And that's even IF you get someone who actually speaks English. This is, of course, based on my experience (and friends whom I know as well)...not saying it will be your experience. I hope it won't! Good luck to you, and happy stepping!

Hi I’m having a similar problem but I’ve had my Versa for about a year. I have gone in the ocean with it several times without an issue but today my Versa stopped working. I tried restarting but nothing. It synced and it fully charged. I was on live chat but got disconnected and now can’t reconnect. I’m very discouraged with FitBit today

@Matty44 so sorry to hear that. Contact Fitbit support and file for a replacement. A Versa should last more than a year, so you'll likely be eligible to receive a new one free of charge.

My versa stopped working and I  contacted Fitbit.  They promised to send a replacement and it's been 9 days and no communication.  This is my 4th Fitbit and I got it as a gift.  It's only a year. How long did it take to receive the replacement?
