My Versa Lite is about a year old and hasn't charged/synced for the last 2 days. I've tried all the suggested troubleshooting tips, but it still won't charge and returns the error message "Data not cleared Sync & try again". The battery's now run out.  I'm unable to check for latest software versions because it won't charge in the first place. Any Suggestions?

This update froze my Fitbit versa and it's been stuck in update mode for a week now.  I even tried to sync it or complete the update process but now my fitbit isn't even being detected.  I would have not updated it if I knew it would ruin the functionality of my fitbit.  It was something I wore daily with various bands and bumpers.  I even bought my parents a fitbit for Mother's and an early Father's Day gift.  I am so upset because hard resetting it hasn't even fix the problem. I still displays the update symbol and I tried to drain the battery but a week later, I tried to connect it and the symbol just pops back up and doesnt even tell me any information on the percentage of battery it is on.

Hi

Well I have spent SOOOO many hours reading through many  forum articles, been in contact with fitbit chat and yet STILL have a fitbit versa lite not keeping the correct time. Fact my husbands charge which was mine works 10 times better. Last chat with advisor told me so many times QUOTE " its your Nokia phone it wont pair, well September last year a good friend gave me the versa lite as a gift to replace my old charge 2. Versa lite does not keep time and now replaced my phone with new Xiaomi note 8, still same problem versa will not keep correct time and not getting notification of email or messages. Fitbit chat is a pain in the rear as never get anything else but passed on with other rubbish.

After my 4-month-old Lite used up its charge in a day I was sent a replacement. I am having problems getting my refurbished replacement to accept the Fitbit App. So now I have 2 Fitbits that do not work!

Not a good advert for Fitbit at all.

Garmin is looking pretty good right now.

@SunsetRunner My husband bought a Garmin because his Ionic stopped working after 3.months.  We went thru somuch trouble trying to get the receipt since he couldnt find it.  I still want to redeem the warranty but he wanted the Garmin Forerunner 735XT for his bday.  So if we do get a new one, I might have to start using that watch. It arrives Monday and he runs 7 miles daily so I will let you know what he thinks of it.

A lot of these posts are referring to the versa and versa lite, can you help with the versa 2? Mines also having the GPS issues, which i can tell from my runs that it was recording perfectly from September when I bought it and started to get inaccurate from jan/feb 2020. And now just puts a random line on the map!
ive done everything advised on this forum, I’ve not changed my iPhone, soft resets/full factory settings, turned everything off and back on again and still ‘poor gps’ the screen is intermittent too, tapping to wake doesn’t work, and my app accounts for starva etc aren’t linking either, I’ve tried using Strava and that links to my phone gps with no issues?! Is there a pending update, mines on 70.7.21 so think that’s most recent. Hope you can help! 😁

I’m just fed up now, no support from Fitbit, I’ve been told to keep an eye on my email for the last week but nothing. I can’t use my watch, definitely won’t be getting another Fitbit or recommending anyone buy one.

I just wish I had never updated the firmware, my Fitbit would still be working now!

Very frustrating from a new Fitbit being only 4 months old to getting a refurbished one that doesn't work. Like you I have been told to look out for the next update! It must be losing a lot of respect and fans.

Hi,
Mine is a Fitbit Versa Special Edition. I have tried restarting it but I’m
still having the same problems. I can’t swipe, tap or scroll screen. Even
using the buttons to get to exercises and alarms I then can’t use the touch
screen to do anything else.
Regarding your advice to switch the watch off and press the settings button
on screen, I repeat, I can’t use the touch screen.
Please help, this was a Christmas present 2019, I don’t want my warranty to
expire.
Billbee.

Thanks for the info.  I hope it works out for the better! I would be interested to know how you both like it!  I'm not interested in another Fitbit so I will start looking at Garmins soon.  What I'm worried about is the other 2 Versa's I recently gave as gifts.  If they decide to just replace my Versa I would probably just sell it haha!  Wait, was I supposed to say that out loud?
