Same. I got forced into updating because it stopped counting my steps. I wish I could get the original software back. There isnt anything that special in the updates that I enjoy more than the original version. now my battery lasts 2 days if I'm lucky. The battery was perfect before the update.

I did the firmware update and have lost the sleep score functionality, it's back to basic sleep tracking. Even nights that previously tracked sleep scores. Also it seems to be tracking my resting heart rate less.

Is there going to be any type of patch to this firmware regarding the excessive battery drain when the Versa is turned off as well as the battery not lasting more than than what was advertised for the Versa? Both of these issues were introduced in the December 2019 firmware update and were reported by users advising of these issues.
In reading several posts on this thread as well as other posts on the Community Forum, both of these issues are still present with this firmware.
As you know, there are users who turn off their Versas overnight to conserve their batteries. In addition, there may be users who like to switch between devices and turn them off again to conserve battery life. Users can't turn off their devices since it doesn't actually turn off. Which in turn depletes the battery life excessively.
I understand that battery life depletes over time and with the amount of apps, clock faces, notifications, etc. But if users are getting 4+ days of battery life and are able to turn off their devices and don't experience a battery drain and they do the firmware update and that changes dramatically, then this firmware update hasn't been coded correctly to fix this issue that was also there with the December firmware version.
A firmware update is supposed to enhance the device not make it function below standards and not as advertised.
Please advise

Where you within your warranty period to get a replacement?
If you're out of warranty, the most Fitbit is willing to offer is 25% of the cost of a new one per the posts coming through on the Community Forum for users having issues after this firmware update.

Hi yes it was. I've had it about 10 months they offered me a replacement or 50% off any fitbit. I had the replacement.

Well for us users who aren't within the warranty period any longer, 25% towards a new device isn't a bargain especially during these economic times due to the firmware not acting like it should. Making the Versa not function at all or function in a subpar manner.
That's why I'm not updating my Versa until a patch is implemented. Nothing has changed from the December 2019 firmware to this one. Seeing the same type of issues pop up.

I absolutely love(d) my versa smart watch I received as a gift. This was to replace my fitbit alta which died completely when it forced a firmware update after having it barely a year. I couldn't get it to even. light up when plugged in. I reached out to fitbit via several avenues and got no response but I trusted the brand and decided on the versa over other smart watches. I have had it just over a year now and it has now also died.
It's purely coincidental I'm sure that there is a new versa out now, and that the firmware update appeared on my screen a couple days before my versa completely shuts down and will not turn back on regardless of when it is plugged into its charger. Anyone else have their fitbits completely shut down randomly after working perfectly for months when a new update is released.

I am experiencing similar issue. After the update my active minutes are not being tracked. I just ran 6 miles! The Fitbit is showing 0 active minutes and no like 100 calories burned. That is not right!
