Versa Vs Flex 2. Versa shows more steps than my friend who has Flex 2.

My friend has Flex 2 and I bought Versa recently. 

We both went for a hike and observed that the steps on his app showed 21000 steps and my app showed 22000 steps. 

Is there a sensitivty option on Versa? Why is there that much of a difference?

Are you of a different height to your friend? Taller people will have a longer stride and so take less steps to cover the same distance.

 

What was the distance measured on the two devices - this should be very similar?
