Versa Will Not Charge

I purchased my versa off of Amazon in April. The battery died and I attempted to charge it but it doesn't charge. I tied to connect it to a computer and to a charger plug. Neither one charges it. Also, when it was plugged into the computer, the app would not connect to my versa. I tried securing it to the charger with a rubber band, to ensure it made contact with the charger, but that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try restarting it several times and then leave it on charge for a couple of hours. If still no life repeat the restarts etc. If still no life you will need to contact support (link in my signature)

I can't restart it because there is no charge on the battery.
