Versa Won't turn on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

my versa has been working fine, had it for almost 2years now without any problems. Woke up this morning and it was blank. I always check the battery power and make sure it has enough charge, so i found it odd to have an email at 12.30am to say the battery was low. I have since charged my versa and it still won't turn on. Tried all of the button holding down combinations several times and nothing is working. Please help!

I have the exact same problem...it was working fine till yesterday but today suddenly it went off and not even charging.

@Rajv1984 @I have tried everything, even spoke to support. Looks like there is no fixing it unfortunately. I thought it would of at least had some problems first but to just stop working altogether is really frustrating.

I’m having same problem! Was working just fine.. I tried to install update and it said searching forever. Tried shutting off.. and all I get when I turn back on is the Fitbit blue bubbles in diamond shape. That’s it. Tried everything !

Mines just did the same, I bought it on release day over two years ago with no issue then battery goes flat and it's dead. Deffo not the charger as my other half has a Versa  and hers charges using the same cradle.

I guess it's out of warranty?

@Breadbun @Yep warranty is out now. It is pretty strange how it did just completely died like it did without any previous issue

@Jue23  it does seem a bit odd that it has happened to several people on the 2yr mark

@ljude71 you might be lucky and get yours going again if you still have screen activity. Mine is completely blank. Hope you have more luck than myself

Exactly the same problem. @KateFitbit can you explain what's going on and what Fitbit is going to do about this?

Mine was only bought in June 2019. Ridiculous.

had mine replaced a few months ago.  Was working fine and went for a swim and now the screen is dead and no amount of recharge and resets is working.  Getting extremely frustrated.

Mine died yesterday, thought it was just the battery but when I put it on the cradle it doesn't show any charging. Thought it could be the charger but now looks very suspicious with so  many others doing the same thing.  Could it be the new update they rolled out - somehow pushed to our Fitbits without requesting it, and bricked them?

Best Answer

got mine in July 2019.

well, that's odd.  Not more than 2 minutes after I posted the above, it suddenly came to life on the charger and shows 48% battery.  But, the time is set for what it probably was when it died yesterday, and doesn't seem to be updating it.

I'm having the same issue, one minute it was working the next the screen was blank! Something must be going on with Fitbit, seems like everyone had the same problem on Saturday 9/12/20. Please help!!!!!

I have just made a post about the same issues, after reading this post and following comments this cant be just a coincidence that all these watches are crashing at the same time frame. ???

Good news for me! I was contacted by someone from fitbit this morning and I will be receiving an replacement which I am extremely grateful for.

Mine is blank too! Doesn’t show it’s charged or anything. If this is connected to the update, what is FItBit going to do about it? Mine is less than 2 years old! I want a new one!!! @Katefitbit
