Versa Wristband Just Won't Install

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently got a replacement Fitbit Versa for my old, malfunctioning one. I was able to install one of the two straps (the one with the buckle), but the other strap just won't click in, no matter what I do. I have been trying to install the strap for a few days now, to no avail, and as such, haven't been able to wear my Fitbit Versa or track anything.

I have been following the instructions as closely as possible. It also wasn't long ago that I installed new straps in my old Fitbit Versa before it started malfunctioning, and that went relatively painlessly, so this isn't my first time trying to install the straps, either. I do not know why it isn't working this time.

Just like the instructions say, I slide the pin into the left hole, hold the lever down, and slide the right side of the band into place, but the right pin never clicks into the hole, and the band never attaches.

Any help here?

Hi @Disco_King , maybe you already did that, but nevertheless, see this Video about changing bands. Regards kuzibri

@Disco_King, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the wristband won't get attached to your watch. By the way, thank you for trying the solutions you mentioned above before contacting our forums.

I'd just like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after following the instructions in the video that @SunsetRunner shared.

If you found his post helpful, please accept it as a solution so other users that experience the same issue can find it easier.

Looking forward to your response.

@SunsetRunner @JuanJoFitbit Yeah, I have indeed already watched this video. It unfotunately did not help.

Thank you for the responses, though.
