Versa added a high amount of steps

Hi there yesterday my Fitbit Versa had about 1700 steps and then all the sudden added 47522 between 1015 and 1030 am. Any idea why and can I remove them. Feel like a fraud - now have 51000 even got a 50000 steps badge.

Regarding the high amount of steps that your Fitbit Versa added all of a sudden, I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved. Also, I'd like to know if you had your watch put on when it added the steps.
