Versa alarms snooze by themselves...stop vibrating

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a few alarms setup on my Fitbit versa. When they actually decide to work, they will vibrate once (sets of 3 or 4 vibrations) and stop. If I don’t manually snooze it, sometimes it’ll snooze for a few minutes and go off again (sometimes it never vibrates again). After the second set of vibrations, it’ll just stop working completely, whether I snooze, stay in bed, get up, or whatever.

The alarm feature definitely has a mind of its own...I’ve had my Fitbit versa for about 3 weeks now and overall I like it a lot; however, I’m considering returning it because I’m not able to fully use all its features. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!! Thanks.

Hi, when you alarm goes off , AFAIK Fitbit snoozes for a short while and than stops reminding you. This is intended to save your battery. Have a look to your alarm settings and see whether you can change them in a way it suits you.

Hey @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Fitbit forums! Let me explain to you how the alarms on your Versa work. When your silent alarm goes off, the watch flashes and vibrates. To dismiss the alarm, tap the check mark or press the bottom button. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, tap the ZZZ icon or press the top button. Tap snooze as many times as you like. Versa automatically goes into snooze mode if you ignore the alarm for more than 1 minute. If you snooze the alarms on your Versa, but the alarms then won't turn on, I suggest you to remove the alarms and set them again. Also, please restart your Versa.

Thanks for your help @SunsetRunner!

Let me know how it goes!

That’s the problem...you can’t change the alarm settings, except to set
times and turn alarms on/off. There’s no other customization option
available, so you’re at the mercy of what Fitbit decided...seriously
considering returning this and spending the extra couple hundred on the
Apple Watch.

Hi,
Thanks for the details. I fully understand how the alarms work on the versa
(snoozing, etc.), but that’s not the issue. What’s happening is that they
either don’t go off at all, and if they do, they will snooze themselves,
but not vibrate again (without me turning the alarms off). If it’s going to
snooze itself, it should continue to go off every 9 minutes until the user
clicks the x. An update/fix is needed ASAP.
Thanks.
