Versa alert waking me at night

My versa woke me up with a vibration at midnight last night. I looked briefly at my watch and saw a circular orange symbol. After I got my glasses on, I could not get the orange symbol back on the watch face.  My phone was set to do not disturb, so it was not a notification from the phone.  It must be a setting on my watch.  I had no alarms set and found no other settings that would cause this behavior.  This happened to me a couple of weeks ago also.

Any idea what causes this vibration and the orange icon to appear?  I have just set my watch to have sleep mode hours to hopefully avoid this in the future.

Hi @exbadger, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Are you using a third-party clock face or a Fitbit original one? Do you receive such notification at any time or just at night while you're sleeping? If possible, please send me a picture of the orange circle your Versa displays to further investigate. In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your device.

Looking forward to your reply.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. I have had this happen twice.  The first time was on or about 10/1 and second time was 10/11.

2.  I am using a third party clock face.

3.  I received the notification at night both times while I was asleep.

4.  I am not able to retrieve the orange notification that I saw.  In looking through the phone app I see that it was probably zone minutes

Mine did this 3 times last night. No new face. Will take a picture if it happens again.

Hi @RonaldLV - did you set a sleep schedule in watch Settings quiet modes? That will stop it waking you, unless you push a button or double tap the screen.

Hi @exbadger  - although this is a very old post, the orange icon that appeared was because you most likely activated the exercise button.

Exercise may be assigned to either the top or bottom right buttons.
