My Fitbit blaze isnt holding charge, it’s the third one after the others just stopped working. Fitbit replaced them under warranty which was great, but my experience of the blaze is it isn’t as reliable as older models. So my question is.....is the versa or the ionic worth trying, I have read loads of reviews saying the battery life is poor, that they add steps you don’t take, the sleep patterns are not accurate and more.....is anyone happy with these trackers? What’s the real truth?

OK, here's the truth as I see it.
One thing to keep in mind is people come here with their problems, or to complain. It's pretty rare that someone posts just to praise their watch. That makes sense, this is a help forum. But it's really important to keep that in mind, or else things can appear more negative than they are.
Fitbit sells millions of trackers. If 2% of people had a particular issue, that would be thousand and thousands of complaints. I just don't see that many here. Dozens, sure. Thousands, no.
My personal experience is that the Versa and Ionic have both performed well. No real issues with battery life or sleep tracking.People could have gotten bum units, or maybe don't know totally how to use it, or are expecting more from it than it can do. It's hard to pinpoint without specifics to the situation.
I have a small preference for the Versa because I think it's better at that price point. I think it's worth a try.

The Versa has known heart rate tracking issues. Stick with an older model that works.
