As soon as I run my airpods make a loud crackling sound and then the music stops. I went through the many lengthy time consuming steps to try and resolve this only to be told that there is an issue you are working on but don’t know when it will be resolved. You did suggest I purchase your Fitbit Flyer Bluetooth headset for $129 as there are no issues with these !!! Maybe it’s a ploy all along to try and get us to spend more money!
Well Fitbit, - your customer service is terrible. The only reason I upgraded to the Versa was so I could run without taking my phone. You have no idea how long it will take to be resolved so the least you could do is send us a pair of these Flyers so your customers can use the product you sold them in the way it’s supposed to work. I asked chat support - what do I do if it’s not resolved before my return period ends and the response was - return it before your time period ends ! That doesn’t sound too hopeful or reassuring does it ? So if anyone out there is thinking of getting the Versa to use with your Apple Airpods then the answer is don't! Save up a bit longer and get an Apple Watch.

It's great to see you here @Furious1.
Thanks for letting us know about the issue you are experiencing with your Versa connecting to your Apple Airpods.
As you were told, we are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible, sorry for any inconvenience it's caused and appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.
Just keep in mind that this can happen if you paused the music and then hit play again quickly. Until this is resolved, we recommend waiting a few seconds before hitting play again
Please let me know if there's anything I may do to assist you in the meantime.
