Versa and Ionic on the same account

I just purchased the new Versa. I have owned the Ionic and I would like to have both watched attached to the same account. However, when trying to set up the versa, it asks me if I am replacing the Ionic and doesn't give me an option to add it to my account. I can only replace my ionic. I did it, but now my Ionic is not connected. How can I get it connected as well.

Thank you,

I know lots of people that do it. Almost everybody in our riding group of 200 people actually. It’s just a known thing that you don’t use fitbit. Hence the share price I guess.

Agree, fix it or warn people. It’s simple really.

Actually, you can. My wife does.

Why would you wear it on both arms?  It's up to you to maintain your account and devices and not do foolish things that compromise the accuracy of your data. They're more than capable of detecting data from multiple devices per account and handling it appropriately. There's a reason, but not this one.

I would have thought this was obvious, but let me spell it out for you. Nobody is talking about wearing them at the same time. If you wear your Fitbit for the “all day heart monitoring “ and the “steps and sleep stages monitoring”, then you have two fit bits so you don’t loose data when one of them goes flat. You can’t even have two on the same account so wearing one while the other charges didn’t work. I have an older Charge2 and a Versa and it works fine. That’s the issue. It’s a really easy easy problem to solve, but fit bit refuses.

Disappointing Indeed!  And it does sound like a hassle to use both. Had I known this before, I would have not bought a Versa 2.

Hi @Lufalulz , sorry to say it, but your answer does not make sense at all, certainly not the advice to switch to an Apple iWatch. Why? The Apple iWatch is twice the price of a Versa 2 and furthermore, and I know all about that cause my wife owns this watch, who wants a watch that needs to be charged every day "rather normal" use instead of after 5-7 days with a Fitbit. regards kuzibri

Not actually simple or easy. I have to go through the full setup process to switch from one to the other. If it really was easy I'd be happy.  Thanks.

Hello everyone, thanks for your participation in the Community.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and experiences. I understand that this can be very frustrating and appreciate your feedback as it helps us to keep improving.  At this time, you can't connect multiple devices that use the Fitbit App Gallery to one account. For Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Inspire series, Fitbit Sense, and Fitbit Versa series, only connect one of these devices to your account at a time. For more information, see Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
