I am very frustrated and disappointed in Fitbit. I have had many Fitbits over the years. The Charge (2 of them), Charge 2, Flex, Alta, Versa, and Versa 2. I got the Versa last year in July and the screen stopped working correctly just before the 1 year warranty went out. I keep screen protectors on my Fitbits to make sure they don't get messed up. The screen started have flashing lines through it and then just stopped working. When I contact Fitbit support, they took me through the steps to restart it (which I had already done) and then to do a factory restart. The factory restart finally had something pop up on the screen but only in the top 1/3 to half of the screen so I can't read anything to even go through the steps to set it up because the full screen is now in only the top part and too tiny. Since it didn't fix it, Fitbit sent me a Versa 2. I thought that it was great customer service.
However, I didn't even use the Versa 2 for the first month I received it because they didn't send it with a band so I had to purchase a new band and of course get a screen protector for it. Once I got it charged, it worked for about a month. Now nothing comes up on the screen. I contacted Fitbit support and they tried the restart and Factory reset. Nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING comes up on the screen. Now it is out of warranty so I get NOTHING. Not even a discount to try to get a new one. After all of the money that I have spent getting Fitbits over the years for myself and my husband (another Charge, Inspire, and Versa for him), I have to buy NEW smart watch. I love the Fitbit app and being able to do work week hustles but Fitbit has taken enough of my money. Is there no way to get the Versa 2 fixed? Is there really nothing that Fitbit can do? I didn't even have the Versa 2 for 3 months. Sounds like they probably sent me a refurbished or used one instead of a brand new one.
Very disappointed in you Fitbit! I can't help it the screens don't work. I didn't break either of the screens at all. Sounds like faulty products to me. I guess I am the stupid one to keep purchasing them.
