I'm trying to re-add my versa to the app and I'm unable to.  It keeps saying it found it but does not continue adding the device. Very frustrating since I'm still having issue with messaging.

Try deleting and then reinstalling the App, then adding the Versa again.

Samsung S9(+) is not among the supported devices yet. So maybe that's your issue?

As mentioned the S9 and S9+ are not on the supported list but the following thread suggests that some are using those phones ok:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Samsung-Galaxy-S9-S9-Compatiblity/m-p/2575462

If a phone is not on the list it either means that the phone has been tested and shown not to fully work, or it could mean that it has just not yet been tested.

So, it's worth persevering.

The most likely fix to connection issues is to restart the phone and then restart the versa by:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Ionic, or Fitbit Versa doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

I have the S9+ and haven't had a problem until a week ago when the app updated. Now my Versa will no longer sync to the Fitbit app. I've tried all of the tips and tricks to no avail. I'm wondering if the update may have messed something up?
