My Versa is tracking the cycle session, ie. the red tracking line is complete, yet it gives inaccurate millage for my route. I have researched this route and found it to be 5.8 miles one way, per Google Maps. However, the FitBit app report indicates that the route was only 3.63 miles.
I paid too much money for this little device. I'd like to know how to resolve this.

Hi, I had similar issues. I will say, GPS tracking is not the best on the versa. I've struggled to get a complete tracking session. Anyway, I hope this helps (for android)
1. Make sure location settings (i.e. GPS) is set to phone only. Go to settings->connections->location-locating method.
2. On same location settings screen, hit improve accuracy. Make sure Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning is switched off.
Finally, just make sure the fitbit app has permission to access your location. Go to settings->apps->fitbit->permissions.
All the best
