Versa at 0% and can't reset

I got my versa on July 31st and didn't start using it for about a week. Haven't had any issues with it until today. Battery went dead around noon today. Took it off, and charged it for 2 hours - came back to it - and it wouldn't start. The only thing on the screen is the 0% battery symbol. Cleaned the sensors, and tried charging about for another 2 hours. Same thing. When I try and reset it, it only shows the 0% and the battery symbol. Any suggestions?

I’m having the same problem with my Versa.  Woke up this morning and it was dead so have put it on to charge and it’s showing 0% too.  The battery wasn’t low last night when I checked it so don’t know what’s happening.  I’ve only had mine a few months too and it’s been fine up to now.

I've just come off Fitbit support chat and they are looking into it.  Tried all the suggestions made but still nothing.  Waiting for an email back about what they advise.  If you haven't tried the support it's well worth it and they will give you a case number reference too.

Hi, my Versa has done this twice now. I don't what I did last time but it's happened again and I don't know what to do to get it working again.
My versa (18 months old) also showed plenty of battery last night before bed and this morning dead as !
So what have you guys been advised ?
