@sharone85 Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear about your Versa band falling while exercising. Please make sure that the band is securely placed by checking these instructions. The mechanism is the same as with many watches so the pin should go back to its place and you could just pull the band gently to make sure it is secure before you wear it.
Let me know how it goes!

Mine falls off, too. Like the earlier poster, I'm afraid I'm going to lose the watch.

@bubba16 @PeGil Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry to hear about about your damaged wristbands and for the delay in my reply. Since you mentioned that your wristbands are damaged then it would be better to let our Support team know about the issue. They should be able to provide options for you. You will both get an email from them.
Keep me posted!

I had the same issue, unfortunately it fell off while I was out riding. When I contacted Fitbit they said they can't do anything as they treat it as lost rather than a faulty product. I'd advise trying to get yours replaced or refunded before it happens at a time where you won't notice.
I think after Fitbit had to replace a bunch of Fitbit hr devices they decided to detatch the device from the strap so when it breaks you've got no device to return.

The issue isn't how to insert it. My band was attached and clicked in place. If I pulled and wiggled, it would hold its position.
My guess is the release was pressed on during use, maybe while sleeping? The watch then eventually falls off. Unfortunately mine is now gone due to this and Fitbit will not do anything about it but suggest I drop another $200 on a risky device.
It's painful that Fitbit seem to consistently fail at their band designs.

Two days after getting my Versa for Christmas and the band popped off and will not go on again. It is useless. Please confirm how to fix. I will be telling everyone I know not to go near Fitbit if I can't quickly resolve this !

Got a Fitbit Versa for Christmas. Band was secure, but still came loose, fell off, and is lost now. Will NEVER buy another one! Not a customer problem. This is a defective product with a design flaw.

I agree. The band is critical to the whole thing and is pretty well useless. It's like having a racing car with faulty brakes.

One thing I have discovered that MAY make a difference is to make sure the "pin" on the band is on the underneath side of the band when its locked into place on the Fitbit. Mine was on the topside when it came loose. Since I turned it over with the "pin" on the underneath side, it has not come loose. (Short time sample, but still... )

I am having the same issue as all of the others but will try reversing the pin. Very unfortunate as I have fixed the other issues but so far the band has come off twice today and it was snapped on securely. Both times i gave a good tug and it would not come out but just fell off the last time while cookibg breakfast.

Is this still an issue?? I just ordered one.......

Well I now feel the same issue except this is with the more expensive leather wrist band. One morning before work, the spring and metal clasp fell apart, resulting in the versa falling off my arm. Very large pain.

How stupid to make such a crummy band pin on such an expensive fitness watch. Mine falls off continuously and then is a TOTAL pain to get back on.
Poorly designed attachment, Yes, it clicks into place, then just falls off whenever the mood strikes it. Furthermore, it's a COMPLETE ordeal to put back on........horrible engineering.

Yes, don't buy another FitBit product until they fix this awful design flaw.
