Versa band just detached from the watch - by itself!

So there is my Fitbit Versa on the floor by my desk. Glad I didn't run over it with my chair!

It fell off because somehow one of the bands detached by itself. Any one had this issue?  The other problem is now after watching 5 videos and reading 20 comments, I still can't get the band back on.

I just got this Versa and have only worn it a week.  I'm thinking thinking of exchanging it for another one.

Fitbit - you need to rethink the bands.  Maybe Amazon will have a decent replacement band that aren't so blasted difficult to put on.

@IAMKITKAT one thing I have to agree with. The Versa and Versa light have the most annoying attachment.

I find it easiest when the band is being held in at this angle. 15626009061411606099852498188763.jpg

Even like this it still takes some pushing to get the tip of the band to fall into its hole.

after an hour+ of futzing (it really needs 3 small hands), I gave up and ordered a band from Amazon.

My band is just 7 months old and seems to have disentaegrated where the metal latch is. No hope of reattaching it. Will be searching for a replacement since it's the piece with the closure on it. Never had this happen with earlier versions of fitbits which I still have over 2 years later!
