Versa band loose after change

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just got my Fitbit versa about 2 weeks ago and I tried taking the band off and putting it back on for practice for the first time. I got the band off and on with no problem but now the side on the bottom dosnt fit snug like it did when I first got it. I took it off and put it on again and it's still not snug and theres a small gap between band and actual versa. Did I ruin the band somehow or break the actual versa? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, take a look at this video about changing bands. Maybe this helps.

@SmallTownGirl03 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry to hear that your band is loose after taking it off and on. The band usually is inserted at an angle (like shown on step 2). These are the steps to do so according to the help article:

To remove and replace a wristband:

  1. Turn Versa over and find the quick-release lever.
  2. While pressing the quick-release lever inward, gently pull the wristband away from the tracker to release it.

  1. Repeat on the other side.
  2. To attach a wristband, slide the pin (the side opposite the quick-release lever) into the notch on the watch. Attach the band with the clasp to the top of the watch.

  3. While pressing the quick-release lever inward, slide the other end of the wristband into place.

  4. When both ends of the pin are inserted, release the quick-release lever.

Also @SunsetRunner share a great video for the process.

Let me know if the issue persist.
