Versa battery dies in 24 hours

My versa is 1 year old and the battery dies within 24 hours, it used to last almost 5 days.  I tried a shut down and a factory reset but they didn't make any difference.  Not sure if a Fitbit update caused this or not but I can't see spending that kind of money for something that doesn't last a year.

Is it normal for the battery to remain charged for only a couple of days?  My versa is less than one month old.

i am having the same issue. I used to be able to sleep with my watch on so I could track my sleep cycle but now I have to choose if I want my sleep cycle or steps. My watch battery used to last for 2-3 days but now I have to charge it mid day if I want to track all my steps. Let me know if you figure anything out.

No, that isn't normal, for almost a year the battery charge would hold for at least 4 days and up to 5 days.  Than 1 day a couple weeks ago it lost its charge in 1 day.  I thought it might be an update from Fitbit so I waited a few days but no change.  I haven't changed any settings and I tried a factory reset which is followed by an update but still only holds a charge for 1 day.

I thought it was the charger box that I was using so I changed it but still
no results. I’ve done everything except a factory reset that I can think
of. I hope someone can give us answers because this is annoying

Looks like there are quite a few issues with Fitbit batteries.  And now, several times I didn't get any sleep tracking because the device "couldn't get a consistent heart rate reading", the WiFi stopped working a few months ago.

I've started looking at other brands and devices.  I could buy 3 throw-away devices on Amazon for the price of a Fitbit and if they only lasted 6 months each I'd still be ahead.
