Versa battery down to 41% and day only half over

Hi, I bought a FitBit Versa on Black Friday and was doing great with battery but now is not even lasting a whole day.  I charged again last night after charging the night before because it was at 10%.  As soon as I took it off it dropped to 99% and as of now at 1:30 p.m. it is down to 41% already while I have been sitting at my desk job as usual all day.

Hi, what a disappointment for you this battery issue. Try cleaning the contacts of as well your charger and your Versa. It does not always have to be the Versa's battery, but the charger can also be the "guilty" one. Can you borrow another charger from somebody else with a Versa?

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone else with a Versa, but from reading other posts sounds like this is a common problem with the battery.
