Versa battery drain quickly and GPS distance is not accurate

I had a goal to hit a half marathon before my birthday. I had planned it out and been training consistently. Yesterday was the day I was going to do it (and did). Knowing the Versa's battery hasn't been the best, I purposely set it on the charger for over 3 hours and then immediately went for the run. It died at 13.9 km. Furthermore, it doesn't even accurately depict the correct distance. It is always 2-3 km off when I do long distance running.

 

I've been a FitBit user for over 6 years, but I'm getting tired of the unreliability.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend taking a look at the article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

With regards to the distance not accurate, I suggest verifying this information: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?
