My husband bought me a versa for Christmas 2018. When I first got it, it was great! It always held a charge for 4 days. Over the last few months, I have noticed it will not stay charged for more than a day or two. I don't wear it any differently than I have in the past. I actually take it off to swim, do dishes, and shower, so it shouldn't be a water issue. I have read through some of the other forums and have done the suggestions on turning things off to help improve battery life and to no avail, it still is not working. I'm a little disheartened that it's only been 6 months and it is already having issues. I charged it Sunday evening, woke up and put it back on, battery was at 100%, then by Monday night it was at 50%, and by mid-morning on Tuesday it was dead. Is there anything else I can do?

After resetting mine many times, charging it and letting it drain to zero a few times, restating it again, it actually fixed itself. Not sure if my actions had anything to do with it but it’s worth a try.

Did your battery discharge problems start after a software or firmware upgrade?
I stopped doing upgrades 6 months ago and my versa has been virtually fault free since, I still get notifications stuck and the occasional sync problem which require a restart but no major issues

Hi@Andie4414 ...
Were you within the 1 year warranty?
I'm curious, did this actually get solved for you?

Yep....same as you with the updates. Stopped doing them after seeing all the issues after every version that is pushed for both the software and firmware. They continue to add enhancements to every update but the main functionality to make these devices perform better never work correctly or not at all. What's the point of updating if you're not able to use your device as advertised?

For what it's worth my versa firmware is 32.33.1.30 and my app 3.1. No major stability issues!

I actually prefer the versions that your on. Those actually worked well. I'm on 32.68.9.15 and 3.11. Stopped updating after that. Especially seeing the issues with the last firmware and all the app updates after 3.11.

I was within my one year warranty. Fitbit did send me another watch, but unfortunately, that one started doing the same thing and then quit charging entirely. So, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole Versa experience as a hole.

Oh I was in the same boat only I was just past the warranty, so the best solution suggested for me was 25% off ANOTHER fitbit.

Yep. I will not be going with another fitbit in the future. I'm doing research to see what kind of watch I can switch to that has the same features as the Versa.
