Versa battery draining rapidly after Fitbit OS 3.0 upgrade

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Is anyone face battery draining issue with Versa after the Fitbit OS 3.0 upgrade. In my case versa battery is draining so fast it last only for 30 hrs, instead of 3-4 days.

I have contacted support they did battery drain test, and decided to replace my Versa.

If anyone else have the issue?

Hi, have a good look at the posts on this Versa Board about the battery issue after updating and you'll see a lot of posts from users with the same experience. So, you're not the only one.

Having same problem after the update. I used to be able to have the Versa for 4+ days on single charge, but now it’s a daily charging routine and sometimes it just died on me during my walk!

Exact same issue for me. 5 hours of life, tops, since I updated to 3.0 - the prior charge lasted me 4 days.

I did a is a factory reset and set it up again, same issue.

Indont see a fix fix being posted - has Fitbit acknowledged the problem at least?

they are trying to blame the clock face I used. They gave me another one.

I would have them ship you a new one. That is ridiculous
Thank You

I am on hold now. I thought it was only in my head. I took a pic when I took it off the charger this morning at 9:09a went to check the time 5mins ago....Dead as a door nail😡, not even sure how long it has been dead. Then I remembered, it was dead Friday after my workout. And I thought I forgot to charge it....

I am having same issue.  Heart rate monitor,  and notifications are turned off.  I turned off all day sync and didn't use any of the apps.  I only have the preloaded apps and used a clockface made by fitbit.  I had to contact support and performed the battery test.  It lasted a whole 5 hours.  I am now waiting on their response to the battery test.

Thank Varoyer...I called last night and they have me doing a test today. I have only had it on about 30 mins and I have lost 5% power🤨😐

I feel some type of way that during my work day that I have to be distracted to check my device😐...

They’re also sending me a new one. Do you recommending updating the new one to OS 3.0?

You have no choice but to update to 3.0 when you get a new device.
