My Versa 2’s battery drastically declined after I updated the app a few days ago. I used to easily go 2-3 days & now it goes dead after less than 12 hours. I have tried all of the suggestions on this page & they haven’t helped much. Do you have any other suggestions?

I suggest hitting the vote icon on all the posts that are relevant to your issue. Apparently this is how we get the attention of Fitbit to look into a problem.

Mines doing the same. I charged it at 3pm and mines now down to 67%

I had a problem with my versa last august and I went on Twitter and they gave me a Versa 2 as a replacement free of charge

I suddenly have this problem too. One day it lasts 5 days and the next it doesn’t hold a charge through the night. I read the article and these things don’t apply. My Versa 2 was just purchased in January 2021 so it should still be covered under the warranty. Help?

Best Answer

Go on Twitter and contact Fitbit, they’ll ask you to do certain things first but as you’re still under warranty they should offer you a new one

Good luck! I won't buy another Versa 2. My Versa 2 is less than 2 years old and the battery died and is not replaceable. Customer Support will only offer a 35% discount for a faulty product and shove the warranty terms in your face.

Unfortunately, no. Fitbit won't stand behind their product. My Versa 2 is less than 2 years old and the battery died completely and is not replaceable. Customer Support will only offer a 35% discount for a faulty product and shove the warranty terms in your face.

I bought a versa 3 in January 2021 & so far so good. Good luck with your versa 2. I wish I had some advice but I don’t.

Just wait until it's past the warranty. It will die completely like mine did. My Versa 2 is less than 2 years old and the battery died completely and is not replaceable. Customer Support only offered a 35% discount for a faulty product and shove the warranty terms in your face. If yours dies, buy something other than Fitbit.

I loved my Versa 2 and didn't have any problems until a few days before it died and less than two years old. Had I known so many had problems within the 1-2 year point, I would have bought another brand. You don't sell a product that frequently dies right after the warranty expires and not address an obvious flaw.
