Versa battery drains fast

Has anyone gotten a useful answer as to why Versa battery life is so poor on a device under 2 years old?  It is burning through a full charge in about 16 hours when it used to go 3+ days.  I have turned off all the alerts, all the GPS features and set to manual wake with a FitBit clock face.  No luck.  Did a factory reset as well. Still no good.   Looks like all the threads end with dump it and buy an Apple Watch or Garmin yet there are indications that the problem was solved.  Tried to “Twitter Message” support and tried a chat.  Anyone have anything I can use?

Thanks!

Now the Versa drained completely while I was sleeping.  Completely dead in the morning.  I estimate the drain rate on the battery is almost 11% per hour!  It won’t recharge, tried two different chargers.  Won’t reset either the normal 2 button way or holding all 3 buttons for about 8 minutes.  I am completely frustrated and disappointed with the quality of this device at the moment!

I have had the same issues my Versa is a year and 1 month old and Fitbit told me there was nothing that could be done and offered me a discount on a new one. But honestly not sure I want to spend my money with Fitbit anymore especially since they seem to think a year is an acceptable lifetime.
