Versa battery dying after two hours

My battery life is fine when just wearing for steps and daily use but as soon as I hit run for tracking my battery will die within two hours.  I have taken off all unneccesary notifications but nothing helps.  It is always fully charged before a run but still cuts out.  It is extremely frustrating.  Please help.
