Versa battery gone from great to hopeless over night

Hi.  My versa battery has been lasting 4 days no problem up until yesterday.  Charged it last night and it was down to 26% this morning.  Charged it again this morning and 8 hours later it's down to 43% already.

Any ideas?  I changed nothing about the settings whilst alseep!

Thanks

It's now 12 hours since I fully charged it and it's down to 14%.

The same thing has happened to my Versa. Battery lasted 4 days, no changes and now only lasts 2 at the most.

I'm quite disappointed as I've been really happy with it up until now.  It's just run out of battery completely at just over 12 hours.

@SunsetRunner @CAR1OL Try restarting it by holding in the left and bottom right buttons until the fitbit logo appears. Don't do this too often, as it may cause the battery life to go down, but it can fix lots of problems.

If that doesn't work, try a factory reset from the Settings/ About app. Sync first, factory reset, then set it up again in the app.

If that doesn't work, contact support. If you're still in the 45 day return window, they'll require that you send the non-functioning one back first, and you'll be without for about a month. If you're outside the return window, they'll just send you a new one, which will still take a very long time.

I was having the same issues! It was lasting 4 days now was only lasting max of 1 1/2. They told me to do a battery drain test and the first time I did this for them it only lasted 1 day. They then wanted me to do this a second time but I was to turn the screen wake setting to manual and since then its been holding a great charge. I am still having tons of Sync issues!

It's because you've been lucky enough to be chosen as one of the people that's updated to the .15 update.

That update kills battery life. Fitbit will now have you perform a bunch of tests for them.  You're a beta tester now.

Thanks for the tips.  They haven't haven't. 6 hours after the reset and full recharge it's back down to just over 50%.  Have contacted customer services.
