Versa battery is draining in a day

Up until about a week ago - I could charge my watch and it would last 3-4 day. I can not go a full day without the battery dying and the watch turning off!! I have done everything I could think of and have seen no improvement. Please - any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there @Robony, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this situation prior to posting here.

 

As you may know, your Versa battery should last up to 4 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or animated clock faces. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

 

With that being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

I currently (and have always) used the “Layers - Fitbit” clock face; I can
certainly try a new one, but this always seemed the simplest. As I use the
watch for basic stats - I have never looked to add anything extra and don’t
run anything “behind the scenes”

Sorry to report that nothing is working and the battery continues to die
and now it appears that the functions of the watch are failing too -
heartbeat, sleeping, etc!!

Help! I don’t want has been a great experience with this watch to end badly
