Versa battery kept emptying within half hour, now will not switch on

A few days ago, my Versa battery kept emptying within half hour, despite saying 53% charge, then died. Charged as usual, got to 100% and then it froze up, before switching itself off. Repeated this over the following day, and now will not switch on, or register being charged. Completely dead. Any advice on how I can get it back to how it was previously, please. It has not had any knocks, drops, or bangs, and is well looked after, especially given the cost of it.

Hi, what does your Versa do when you put it in the and connect it to you PC? Is it charging? If nothing happens, you can try to do a factory reset by pressing and holding all three buttons together untill you feel a strong vibration and then release only the right lower button. If that also does not solve the problem, call Customer Support . Good luck.

Thank you for your prompt email. I've followed your suggestions, and when attached to the pc, it turns on now, shows 100% battery, and you can use it. As soon as it comes out of the charging cradle it goes blank and does nothing. I've tried the factory reset, but nothing happens with that either unfortunately. When it gets plugged into the power socket in the wall, it now shows an empty battery and 0%, then sometimes shows the fitbit logo, before turning off, or it just turns off and does not respond to anything.
