Versa battery life into the tank after new dashboard

So I didn’t like the look of the new Dashboard when it was first optioned about a month ago, so I stayed with the old one. Better colours, more dynamic. This past Saturday I got the new one. It is so meh. But I woke up Sunday morning to an almost dead Versa. (Shrug) maybe I didn’t look close enough before bed? Toss it on the charger for 20 mins to get me through the day at work. Get home, back on the charger till 100%. Wear for about an hour before hitting the hay for the night. I am used to 5-6 full days before it hits 20%... Wake up, Versa is at 30%. WTF? Double check I didn’t turn on battery draining stuff... nope. Same settings. Same story for Monday. Wake up Tuesday to 25%. Take my charger to work, charge while driving, 99% when I hit the job. Less than 10 hrs later, 10%. Charge it up to 90% on the drive home.... And down to 75% now...

The ONLY thing that has changed is this **ahem** dashboard update! Coincidence? I don’t think so. Fix it.

Same problem. I’ve been using this Versa since May of 2018 and suddenly the battery life plummetted between Friday and Saturday and ever since. It can’t hold a charge now beyond about 12 hours. The only software that was changed was the new dashboard that got pushed out to me over the weekend, even though I elected to opt out and stick with the old dashboard last Wednesday or Thursday, when prompted. I’m experimenting wit changing all-day sync settings, notifications, and revoking app access to see if it makes any difference at all.

Yeah, I have had all of the quick on, all day sync turned off since I got this replacement Versa... Two previous devices crapped out completely after 4 months.

Same issue here since the new dashboard. I used to have to charge every 7-10 days...now it's every 3. I've made NO changes to my settings, so it HAS to be something in the dashboard...

So I contacted Fitbit CS, they asked me to do a battery drain test. Went to check on the battery level while it was charging... Dead. Hot to the touch, and no life even after cooling down. Replied to the email detailing the drain test info, and now waiting for a response.
