Versa battery life

So disappointed that the battery can’t be replaced. My Versa’s battery life was less and less until it completely died.  Can’t get it to turn on at all.  Loved my Versa, but will not buy another.  Product is too expensive to replace every year. Something I can’t afford to do anyway.   If I would have known it was going to last for such a short period, I would never have purchased it.

I'm calling them on mine today... they replaced the first one because it wouldn't stay connected to wifi... now the battery won't stay charged.  I'm having to charge it everyday.  I'm just gonna ask for a different product one.. this one sucks.

My wife got a Versa for Xmas and she said she is having to charge it every day.  Any advice?  If I would have known this I would have bought a different brand.

Well I am hoping what my hubby did to mine fixed it. I was so upset when I left for work without it he did some research and somewhere found a post to cleans the back of the watch with a toothpick, q-tip and alcohol. Then he put it back on the charger for the full 2 hrs. It came back to life and hoping it doesn’t die again. Time will tell if it holds a charge or not. I will post if it is still working through tomorrow night. Maybe clean the back and make sure there isn’t there isn’t any residue on it. I LOVE my versa and use it mostly for steps, sleep and to monitor my heart rate at the gym. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hope this works.  Mine worked great for a year, then last week I am having to charge in less than 24 hours.  super annoying.

I'm having the same problem. I have been having battery issue for about 2 weeks now. Some days it doesn't even last all day.  And it's has been reading my heart rate either.

You did!  After a good cleaning it held a full charge.  I can only surmise that the back of the versa has a lot of residue, lotion, skin oils, and etc. that kept it from charging/ working properly.  I will clean now on a regular basis with alcohol and q-tips! Hopefully this was a fix 👍

That’s exactly what happened to mine. While I was at work my hubby was doing some research and saw someone said to try cleaning it with a q-tip and alcohol. He pushed the left button and the bottom right at the same time, then put it on the charger for 2 hours. Me being the skeptical 🤨 thought for sure this a short lived fix. But I have been wearing for over 24 hrs now and it still has a full charge! Super happy, because I was really mad that I thought the battery died after such a short time. And worse yet!, the batteries can’t be replaced. Try that and hope it works for you. He said he also read there were some that were bad and couldn’t be fixed.

I got myself one for Christmas too.  I wad having to charge mine everyday without much going on with it.  I also purchased one for my SO and with the same settings his is great.  So I deleted mine and factory reset it.  Readded it, so now it lasts for approximately 4days.  However, mine is being replaced after only 2weeks of use, since it won't stay connected to bluetooth.  I've been so frustrated with something that I was extremely excited to get.   I purchased 3 and the one that is mine has been a complete and EPIC fail.  Hopefully deleting, resetting, and readding it helps you

Hi. I was having the same problem, after many emails to fitbit support it has been decided to replace my watch which was only purchased on the 16th October 2018. The problem seem to start after downloading the  firmware Version 32.331.30 a few weeks age. I happen to pick up Versa at lunchtime today and for no reason it has come back to life after two to three days of no display. Not sure that this will help but get onto Fitbit support. Good luck.
