Hi @Janeharding, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
Looking forward to your reply.

This is also happening to my Fitbit versa. It charged yesterday for a bit in the morning and then today when I got home and put it on the charging dock and left it for about 2 hours it still hasn’t turned on.

Thakyou for your reply the heart rate is working well its showimg as working when I'm wearing it but don't think it's a true reading as it's showing very high at my resting rate? I'm so upset this will not charge it was a present for my 40th birthday.

Welcome aboard @Mschneider37 and thanks for your reply @Janeharding.
@Mschneider37 I'm sorry to know that you're experiencing the same issue. To move forward, can you please let me know if you already tried the troubleshooting steps that were specified on my previous post? I'll be waiting for your reply.
@Janeharding I appreciate the details that were shared with me. Let me share with you that your Versa is displaying the Data not cleared sync and try again message because a firmware update wasn't successfully installed on your device. That said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
I'll be around. Don't hesitate to ask me any additional questions you may have.

Thanks for your reply unfortunately my fitbit is now only 10 % and not charging so I can't do anything. I have tried different charger and usb ports but it is not charging. Its showing that is charging on the watch but it isn't.

I let my battery run out on my Versa completely for the first time after about a month of wearing it. When I went to charge the watch, it will not charge at all, either. I have followed the troubleshooting tips with cleaning, letting it charge for more than :30 minutes (it's been there over night and still nothing). I bought a second charger thinking perhaps it was the charger - this one doesn't work, either. I have held down the power button and nothing happens. There are no lights or any power; I don't get anything. What else can I try before I take it back?
