Versa battery screen flashing when charging

When my versa is on the charger, it charges slowly because it is constantly connecting and disconnecting charge. The screen flashes with the battery percentage saying it is charging, but then “unplugs” itself even though it is securely fastened in its charging station.

@Hopela11 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it unplugs itself from the charger.

 

Please clean the contacts of your Versa and charging cable with a cotton swab in order to remove any dust that the contacts may accumulate. After this, try plugging the charging into another USB port of your computer and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi Juan,

Apologies for the late response, but I tried the above with my Versa 4 and have the same issues.  The screen goes crazy when charging.  Do you know of any new workarounds?
