Has anyone else experienced this issue: the battery is charged almost fully, let's say between 80-100%, and then suddenly you notice the watch has turned itself off and shows 0% when trying to reboot it.
This has happened a few times to me over the last few weeks now and it's starting to become annoying. This does not seem to be not a case of battery drain, I don't notice any drops in % it just suddenly switches off. When this doesn't happen the device easily lasts 4 days, with the exact same usage. So I cannot tell what is causing this.
Looking for some input before I contact support about this.

Mine has not drained completely but just in the past week or two it drains so much quicker than it used to. To the point where I question if it was something caused by the last update because they are offering a new model. 🤔

online chats and taking the steps that they asked me to take I was approved
for a new fitbit. the battery on my new fitbit only lasts 4 days so I am
disappointed about that. My other would last for a week.
Good luck

I did the same and have got a new already. But the one has exactly the same problem. My first one was only 3 months old, and the new one is only a month old. I think I
'll switch to Garmin. Too much trouble with Fitbit.

So my original fitbit had this problem, I went back and forth with customer service about it for a week and they eventually agreed to send me a new one...as slowly as possible?!? It seriously took 3 weeks to get here. Anyway now the new one has developed the same problem after 4 months so I am just going to give up and buy a Garmin. Really surprised that a modern tech company can survive with such a lousy product and service, very disappointed and wish I could get my money back.

Wait when it is just over 1 year.
That's when original was started to die.

Sorry but having had many fitbits and using the supplied by Fitbit charger it seems unseemly to tell us it is our fault for not charging correctly. Something is wrong with the fitbits when they drain in a matter of 4 hours. It also seems absurd to sell fitbits advertising the notifications but not stating that use of them will virtually make fitbit unusable as the battery will die in half a day.
These just seem like inappropriate responses and failure to take responsibility.

I gave up on Fitbit just over a year ago and went with a Samsung galaxy active 2 and love it. They don't promise long battery life (2 days), but at least they are up front about it. I charge it every other day and the length it stays charged has been consistent over the past year. No issues at all. I tell everyone I can about Fitbit's terrible customer service and products. I had been a Fitbit customer since 2012. They are definitely not the same company when it comes to customer service or their products.
