Has anyone else experienced this issue: the battery is charged almost fully, let's say between 80-100%, and then suddenly you notice the watch has turned itself off and shows 0% when trying to reboot it.
This has happened a few times to me over the last few weeks now and it's starting to become annoying. This does not seem to be not a case of battery drain, I don't notice any drops in % it just suddenly switches off. When this doesn't happen the device easily lasts 4 days, with the exact same usage. So I cannot tell what is causing this.
Looking for some input before I contact support about this.

Call customer care be persistent about what you want refund or replace just
know the replacement will be a refurbished one that may break as well....

I've had my Versa for about 1 1/2 yrs. I was getting 3-4 days out of my battery and then suddenly, literally overnight, I was only getting one day out of it. I contacted customer service and they had me do the battery test with all of the features turned down/off and it didn't even last 1 1/2 days. They acknowledged there was an issue, asked me when/where I got my Fitbit and then proceeded to tell me it's out of warranty and offered me 25% off any Fitbit, NOT INCLUDING the Versa 2, which is what replaced the Versa. Prices were better than 25% off over the holidays. Also, it's never really synced well with my Samsung phones, which is also frustrating. I went back to them and told them that this isn't an acceptable solution and that I will never buy another Fitbit product. I've been a customer since 2011 and they just lost a longtime customer that has promoted Fitbit to friends and family. They lost a customer base over a $200 item because I am telling anyone that brings up Fitbit what my experience has been. They came back with:
We know how upsetting this situation is for you and we want to make sure you get your money's worth. Truly this is not what we want our customers to experience as we know how important it is for you to fully utilize the features of your tracker and have it as a motivator in keeping an eye on your fitness goals. We understand where you are coming from and we apologize if this experience has fallen out of your expectations. We know your expectations are much more when it comes to the usage of the product and we truly value the information you have provided regarding your experience with your Versa and Fitbit. This is helpful information for us as we aim to further improve our products and services.
We are aware that this is not the result that you are looking forward to, M***. We truly wish we could revert this situation to accommodate you in a way you may find suitable. However, it is also necessary that we enforce our policy.
I don't find this reply acceptable and will be purchasing a Samsung watch.

The same thing happened to me. It started with the heart rate monitor not working then overnight the battery died in 10 hours! I got the same message you received. I am so annoyed I purchased my versa Jan. 7, 2019 and 13 months later I am expected to dish out another $200! Not acceptable!

My versa doesn’t last 24 hrs. This has happened for the past 3 days. Prior to that, it was lasting 2-3 days. It hasn’t gradually decreased.
Any suggestions?

This issue is affecting me too. Right now, my Versa 1 is on the charger and has been for close to an hour but is showing no life.

I used to be able to go five days without a charge, and now I can’t go five hours without having to recharge. Nothing has changed in my settings and this has just happened in the last 24 hours. Others have experienced the same thing. Check the forum for “versa battery drains fast.” Something has changed to make the battery drain obnoxiously fast!

Please add me to the list of people who have a Versa that used to work fine but all of the sudden with lot’s of charge showing it will die and the have nothing but a black screen for a few days even though it is on the charger. Then for some unexplained reason it will flash 0% charged and then charge normally and work for a couple more weeks without a problem. This has to be a known problem based on the reports I am reading so who do I contact to have it addressed?

I have the exact same issue as of two days ago. My battery dies within hours after fully charging and the heart rate also won’t work any more. All the admin replies are very basic copy and paste answers that don’t seem to help. I’ve tried resetting the Fitbit, downloading new software, and turning off all day sync. This has never been an issue before. My Fitbit is almost 2 years old.

Me, too! It’s happened several times now. Looks like a recall to me!
