Yes, I have tried turning off all-day-sync, and using a non interactive face.
However, I am charging it now and it is charging impossibly fast (from 5% to 42% in less than 10min) so I strongly suspect a severely deteriorating battery.
Who could I contact about a possible warranty replacement (bought it on 07/18/2019)?

I have the same issue, and really annoyed it has happened 1 month out of warranty.. went from 5 to 6 days to 1 day withing abot 3 weeks. I have emailed the fitbit help line so just waiting on a reply.. But would have expected these devices to last more than the warranty period..

I have just been reading other posts and replies on battery issues with the Versa,, and it doesn't look promising that we are going to get any help from FitBit.. so I certainly will not be purchasing another.. Very dissapointing to see that others just weeks outside the waranty period are not recieving any help. Maybe Consumer Guarantees Act nz may be an option as I am sure the expected life of these devices would be more than 12 months?
