Versa battery won't charge

I just got my versa a week or two ago, the battery ran out during a 12 hour work shift, so I popped it on the charger when I got home (it had been working perfectly before this).  Screen has not woken up since.  That was days ago now. Its like its just dead.  I have plugged the charger in to multiple places, my phone is charging beautifully from the same sources.  Who do I call/where do I send my Versa to get a replacement?

Brand new Versa... had less than 12 hours. . Pretty freaking disappointed in something that cost so much.. won't charge, blinking logo, glitches galore with syncing.. and now pretty sure its just dead. Black screen, no reaction when touched or buttons pressed. Ihave read all the articles already so please don't reference me to more to read.  It's a dud. .. I want it replaced... y'all can have this piece of crap back

I read those before I posted... and quite frankly this type of response from FitBit is quite infuriating... It's a piece of crap.  I have contacted Customer Service--had to make a video of the Versa connected to my computer with a handwritten note with case number and email it back to customer support.  Two hours later I have yet to receive a response back.  On the phone as I type this in an attempt to expiated this process.  Obviously purchased it to use it... have returned to my Charge HR at this point and am quite frankly kinda considering   At this point I have spent nearly 4 hours in attempting to get this thing replaced.  Y'all can have this junk back... obviously not all the bugs have been worked out and is apparent in them multitude of community and online posts about the exact issues I am experience.  Shame on you!!! Been a loyal Fit Bit user for years and was excited for this.  I am more disappointed in the lack of urgency to mitigate this issue. I have now been told it will be up to two weeks--4-5 business days to receive my Fed Ex Label and 4-5 business days to receive my replacement

I tried tracking my Versa return, since it only lasted 1.5 weeks. And it doesn't even have great tracking since its a FedEx Smart Post.

It would've been nice to at least get expedited replacement. Smh.

Just got the Versa and have same "doesn't charge" issue. In reading the replies I think I found a temporary fix.

Problem is cradle contacts don't reach watch. I wrapped a rubber band around cradle and rolled up some more rubber bands (so not to scratch watch face) and shoved rolled up rubber bnds under rubber band I had placed around cradle. This put pressure on watch to come in contact with contacts on cradle. My watch is now charging.

I know this is not a correct fix, but at least I can use watch until I get a replacement cradle.

The watch I bought 5/12/18 was new shipment which just arrived at Kohls Department Store. Reason I mention this is the cradle had to be fairly new and it shows Fitbit still has not corrected problem. Very sad!!!

My Versa is not recharging. I put it on the charger and it said battery charging but it doesn’t. Just stays at 5%? This Fitbit was my Mother’s Day gift and I only wore it for two days and now it won’t recharge. Disappointing!

Someone had a similar situation and it wasn’t the Versa that was the problem, it was actually the charger. Is there a way you can return the watch from where you bought it or test that it’s the charger?

Yes, I did get a reply from Fitbit and they are replacing the charger. They could actually tell by reading my phone that it was the charger——I am stunned at the technology!! thanks for responding!!

That is amazing. I wonder how they could tell it was your charger from your phone? Anyway, glad you got that fixed 😊

 Hi,

I bought my Fitbit Versa in Canada, used it for the first time and after finishing the battery does not charge. I've tried every way to charge the battery of the watch and I can not. I think the battery charger is not working. I am living in Brazil, and there is no Fitbit technical assistance here.

I need a new charger. I think my charger came with a defect. I have read many complaints with the same problem, and in some of them the company has sent a new charger cable to the consumer.

Thanks

I had to get a complete new Fitbit and charger through Argos. Fitbit weren’t that much help if I’m honest

I actually *thought* this was happening to me with my Versa, but it actually ended up being the Clock face I downloaded, not updating to the correct percentage! When I looked at the fitbit app, I saw it was actually charged. Not sure if this is the same issue for you, but it might be worth a try checking it out.
