Versa battery won't charge

I just got my versa a week or two ago, the battery ran out during a 12 hour work shift, so I popped it on the charger when I got home (it had been working perfectly before this).  Screen has not woken up since.  That was days ago now. Its like its just dead.  I have plugged the charger in to multiple places, my phone is charging beautifully from the same sources.  Who do I call/where do I send my Versa to get a replacement?

Hello, I can't reload my Versa. The battery is at 0% and when I put in the computer, nothing happens. The watch was plugged in my computer all the night. I do the same witch an electric plug. Nothing happens too.

Thanks for your help.

Hello, I just bought my Fitbit versa today. I synced it and the battery started to run out. I decided to charge it, but it's not charging! It always says that there is not enough power to charge it, and I don't know what to do. I tried all the possible things that could be wrong and none of the tips worked. I'm very frustrated and I've tried charging it from my computers USB and with a plug. Nothing has worked 😞

That is sad. Probably best to return it to fhe store you bought it from and either swap it for a nother one.

Hello,

I have attempted all of the troubleshooting tips and unfortunately I have not had any luck in recovering my Versa charging capabilities. From what  I understand, Fitbit is one of the most successful companies in this type of exercise technology and from my first experience being with the Versa I have been very impressed. It makes me sad to say though, I have had my Versa for 3 weeks and now there is a malfunction with this product. I hope there is some sort of solution you can provide with my Fitbit product.

Thank you,

Hello Maggie,

After speaking to customer service over the phone, a series of troubleshooting was conducted and the solution was determined. A new charger was sent to me and it was only a matter of a few business days. I was satisfied with the rush delivery so I was able to use my Versa again soon after with no charge. My watch is back to charging as normal and has been so for the past week.

Have you charged your battery? Try restarting the Versa several times and then try charging again and see if it comes on. If it doesnt you may have to return it tonthe store you bought it or contact support (link in my signature )

Sorry I am not affiliated in any way with Fitbit (only as a Versa
customer). I had same problem and they sent me a new charger (free). I did
notice on the defective charger not all of the pins were showing correctly
thru the charger. Until I received new charger I put a rubber band around
defective charger so as to make better contact with Versa. It worked as a
temporary fix.

Could you please tell me how you restarted your versa? I have the same problem where my versa is completely dead. It's been like that for 2 days and had no issues charging prior to that. I bought 2 extra chargers thinking the problem was there, unfortunately, i still have no luck 😞 I love my versa and would be very sad if it stays like that. I had the charge 2 before and had the same problem. It is still dead today :(. Please kindly help!

I feel your pain. I meant to suggest I rebooted, not restarted, my Versa.
(Hold in left and bottom right buttons for about 30 seconds until you see
the blue dots Versa symbol). If battery is dead, only suggestion is
hopefully still under warranty and demand a new Versa. You might check pins
on charger(s) to see that they are all even and above charger base. My
original charger was not making contact with watch. I had to tie some
rubber bands around watch while it was in charger so contact was then made.
To test this approach I first carefully pushed down on watch face while it
was seated in charger and noticed it then started charging.

Good luck

I had a bad charger I believe. After a ridiculous customer service experience in which I had to take a video of my versa connected to an "awake" computer and tapping the screen I was asked to send it back.  I was sent an entire new box.  When I tried to use the original charger it did not work but new charger was fine. You can try to restart by holding left button and bottom right button simultaneously for approximately 5-10 seconds and it will restart the versa. If it doesn't turn on or show its charging then it's likely a faulty versa or charger. I did explain to CS that my Surface was not recognizing it, the original versa and charger when I plugged it in. Surface makes a noise and indicates I have a USB device connected but wasn't doing that with original... It does do it with the replacement.I had to fight to get it replaced and demanded it be sent quicker than the 4 week time frame they gave me and asked for tracking numbers, emails when it was shipped etc. It took about 7 days for replacement after they received the faulty device. Hope this works out for you... Keep on customer service and demand replacement if all their "steps" aren't fixing the problem.  Sorry you had this experience too 😔

Tell Fitbit charger is defective and insist they send you a replacement.
