Versa battery won't charge

I just got my versa a week or two ago, the battery ran out during a 12 hour work shift, so I popped it on the charger when I got home (it had been working perfectly before this).  Screen has not woken up since.  That was days ago now. Its like its just dead.  I have plugged the charger in to multiple places, my phone is charging beautifully from the same sources.  Who do I call/where do I send my Versa to get a replacement?

When I was having trouble with my first one I took it back to see if I could just get them to replace it with a new one. They said they couldn't FitBit policy. Took a couple more days to get a reply from Fitbit. Finally got replment, now can't charge it, ftp, got it to use it not help fix Fitbit problems.

I've looked at this article 5 times trying to find something useful.  My charger isn't dirty, my watch isn't dirty, it's not charging unless I'm constantly watching it.

I got a new Fitbit Versa charger and it is now charging my Fitbit versa. I think you need a charger.

I was less than happy with the customer service response too.  Basically it was "too bad, it's over a year old".  Buy a new charger or Fitbit.   Guess I'll see what else is available as the market has grown tremendously.

Thanks for the suggestion.   I agree the customer service is very poor,  seems to be  common complaint.

I've had my Versa SE a couple of months, really enjoying it. But then it stopped charging. I tried all the tips, but nothing worked. When on the charger it would say charging, but stayed at 0%. Now I am eagerly awaiting my replacement, hoping for better luck with it. I didn't have any problems with customer service myself.

Mine was 14 months so no help from Fitbit. I did get a new charger and now
it works fine. The new charger is a different style as I think the spring
losing tension over time caused the issue.

I wondered if my charger could be the problem. Where did you find another style of charger?

I went to Amazon, you could check eBay too. There were several variations.

I actually didn't have trouble with customer service either. They sent me
a new Versa right away last December. However, do NOT throw away the one
you have. Try charging it with a different charger. I'm convinced that
the first generation *chargers* were the problem, not the Versa itself.

The battery on my Versa is terrible.  It can't even get through a whole day anymore.  Coupled with the fact that I can't increase the font size on my display,  I will NEVER buy a Fitbit again.

I agree with you about the gen 1 chargers. But since your Fitbit is less
than one year old customer service accommodated you. Mine wasn't so they
offered a suggestion and nothing else to a long time customer.

I called customer service & they sent me a replacement. So far no trouble with the new one. I had bought a different charger, but never could get my original one to take charge.

Call support. Don't email, call them.

That's what I found searching Google.
Good luck.

I am having a hard time getting my new Fitbit versa 2 to wake up.  The above comment says to hold all buttons down, and when you see the Fitbit logo, immediately place it into charger.

All buttons???

I thought there was only one button.  Please advise.

Hi Amy, how did you get the little covers off the side of the Versa charger? I am trying to get mine off to fix the charger (they did send me a replacement, i just want to have two.)

Thanks!
