Versa became unresponsive after Factory Reset

I've been a big fan of the Fitbit Versa until now.

I was about to give my Versa watch to someone else

So I went into "Settings", then "About", and then selected "Factory Reset"

My Versa immediately went dead.  It will not respond to anything

Since it's been over a year since purchase, the only offer from Support was a 25% discount - off RETAIL prices.  In reality this is no discount at all - as the watches are discounted on the website all the time

OK, I figured I'd get it repaired.

Oh, there is no repair process possible

How a company can get away with this is beyond me.

@lpotter, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa became unresponsive. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of first setup.

I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.

I'll be around if any question arises.

As additional information --> I have tried both the 2 button and the 3 button restart procedures as documented in the forum.

I held the 2 (or 3) buttons down attempting to restart (or reset) the watch.

No response from the watch at any time

I also recharged the watch too before trying the restart procedures - no difference
