Versa black screen

My screen is not working, everything else is like the vibrations and that little green light at the back. But the screen doesn’t do anything when I touch it or when I touch a button. Even when I charge it it doesn’t react does anybody know what to do?

I have had my Versa since they were originally released in April 2018 and never had an issue... until now. The battery definitely doesn't hold the charge like it used to (and I don't wear it in the shower or go swimming with it...) 4 days ago the screen went black... I thought it was the battery so I charged it and still nothing. I have tried to do the factory reset, MULTIPLE TIMES...like at least 20 and nothing.  Help please. This is really irritating.

Same issue here, I called them and they replaced my versa. I was only in the phone for a few minutes. The new one arrived quickly and has worked liked new for 3 months now.

That’s what I had to do, they will pay for a replacement of the same one you have or give you 50% off if you’re under warranty still !

So has it been figured out? I got mines around  Christmas and this just happened randomly.

Call Fitbit and they will walk you through steps to try and reset it. If that don’t work then they will send you a new on. Have you tried holding all three buttons down for 10 seconds. If not try that. Good luck

I reset mine and it finally came back on for 1 1/2 days now it's black again.

I woke up this morning and saw vertical lines on my Fitbit screen. I went to Customer Support pages and found these forums.

My Fitbit screen went black four months after I got it. I called the support team and it was broken; the warranty was still on it so I'm getting a replacement. The man I talked to was patient. They made it a very easy and painless experience. It was the best customer service I've experienced.

I just had the same issue happen!! I called the support number and was surprised to find that I qualified for a free replacement after we went though some trouble shooting. Great customer service - fast and friendly! I would suggest anyone having issues to call 🙂

All of a sudden today my Versa vibrates and then went black.  I tried pushing the left button in and it just vibrates and 2 green dots show but nothing.  Tried to charge it and that didn’t help!  Is there anything we can do manually to reset it?

I had the same problem here and they shipped me a replacement. My versa got what I call a black screen of death...

This happened to my Versa twice now. The second replacement is on the way (last replacement was beginning of April only!!!)

customer support is very good though, as my Versa is still under warranty. 

But I’m not really confident with its technical and functional qualities now. Let’s see how this second replacement will do this time!

This is the third broken Versa I’ve had in a year.

Brand new out of the box

charged overnight 

went to setup and screen is black

holding left button down, and bottom right...nothing 

no visual

green light is on on the back

Versa vibrates

no screen...ever

my old one just lost the screen and I’m having the exact same issues

i swim frequently, and I think the design is faulty.
